Mt Arapiles - Rock-climbing

Mt Arapiles

Mt Arapiles is an island that rises 230 metres out of the flat Wimmera plains and is internationally acclaimed for it’s rock climbing with over 2000 different climbs across these rugged sandstone cliffs.

There are 500 species of native plants found across the park, several of which are rare or endangered species.

The summit of Mt Arapiles can be reached after a short 50m walk from the carpark. This lookout provides spectacular views back across Horsham towards the Grampians.
